I'm bringing back The Front Steps Project (TFSP) for a limited time only.
I want to know how you're doing, what's different now, if you've moved, and what you've learned over the past year since I've snapped your front steps photo.
I know we've all lived, worked, loved and lost and I want to hear your story.
Who is Eligible:
If I took your family's photo in 2020 for TFSP and you live in Park Slope, you are eligible.
**If you have moved (ie: everyone that moved to New Jersey or back to Finland) and want to participate in the second part of this documentary project, you can! Have a neighbor snap a photo of your family out front (or use the self timer on your smart phone!) and email that to me. And please fill out the form below!
$$ Donation Info $$:
I'm helping to raise money for our local B.I.D., The Other Fifth, in Park Slope, Brooklyn. They're raising money that will support small businesses, non-profits, and the community.
You can read more about the fundraiser here. <-- This is also the donation link!
What Do You Get Out of This?
These short sessions will take place on weekdays only.
I will be doing this for free as part of a documentary project and to raise money for the small businesses and community events #theotherfifth supports.
If you'd like to extend your session (more time/photos for $250), you can indicate that on the sign up form.
It's been a year since I've been in your homes.
A year since I've gotten to hold and cuddle a client's baby (...any baby!).
A year since I've shot a 'Day in the Life' documentary session in a family's home: kids brushing their teeth, baking together, kids *very* reluctantly getting their shoes on to go outside, etc.
I miss that.
A year since my kids were inside of a school building.
BUT! If you know me you'll know I'm all about gratitude and silver linings.
It's almost been a year since I began The Front Steps Project in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
A year since I met new, amazing photographer friends.
A year since I became more actively involved in our community.
I've met so many wonderful neighbors in the past 12 months, especially through The Front Steps Project and I love that I get to keep in touch with so many. I'm grateful for all of you!
The weather is warming up (on most days... hey, it's the Northeast) and that means lots of outdoor family shoots! Let me know if you'd like a modern portrait session or a documentary shoot. Either of these are great for family photos, events and businesses. Having a Bar or Bat Mitzvah in your backyard or Prospect Park? Let's talk about a great way to preserve your memories.
Can't wait to see you this Spring!
